Set on the storied Callejón del Agua, in the very heart of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, this extraordinary 13th-century Sevillian palace —once part of the Royal Alcázar complex— offers an accommodation experience like no other: intimate, monumental, and profoundly authentic.

With capacity for 18 guests, the residence features 9 en-suite bedrooms (7 double rooms and 2 twin rooms), ensuring privacy, comfort, and an atmosphere of true distinction.

From its windows, balconies, and terraces, guests enjoy privileged views of the Royal Alcázar gardens. It feels as though you are waking up inside them, but with the tranquillity and charm of a private residence.

At the heart of the house lies a spectacular central courtyard, with columns and arches bathed in natural light and surrounded by lush vegetation. It is considered one of the most colourful and photographed patios in Seville. As an extension of this space, the rooftop features a private terrace filled with flowers, outdoor furniture, and a traditional Andalusian pilón–alberca, the perfect place to unwind at sunset with views over the city’s rooftops.

This historic residence once hosted the writer Washington Irving, who lived here while composing Tales of the Alhambra. Its battlemented façade preserves a sculptural tribute by the renowned Mariano Benlliure, adding even more character and cultural value to the stay.

Inside, the house has been carefully restored, blending antiques, personal objects, and contemporary artworks belonging to its owner, the Marquesa de Tenorio, with every modern comfort. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, heating, colonial-style ceiling fans, and internet access.

Here, guests enjoy the privacy and charm of a magnificent historic residence, far from the impersonality of a conventional hotel: a place where time seems to pause, revealing the most beautiful essence of Seville.

The common areas of the palace —with the sole exception of the kitchen, reserved exclusively for the service staff— are available to guests between 09:00 and 22:00, in order to ensure the proper preservation and smooth operation of the house.
The dining room may only be used within the framework of services offered or arranged directly with the house.


INCLUDED SERVICES:

•⁠ The house is always rented for a minimum of 8 guests (4 double bedrooms). If the group is larger, additional bedrooms will be opened and a supplement will be applied per guest/bedroom per night. In this way, the use of the house always corresponds to the actual size of the group. The maximum capacity is 18 guests (9 double bedrooms).

•⁠ The stay includes a residential support service responsible for the daily care and preparation of the palace. The staff resides in the service quarters and works with complete discretion, limiting their duties to household and maintenance tasks.

•⁠ Daily housekeeping service between 09:00 and 14:00, carried out only when guests are not in the room. Towels will be replaced when left on the floor or when visibly damp or used.

•⁠ Buffet breakfast available from 09:00 to 11:00.


ADDITIONAL SERVICES (UPON REQUEST):

•⁠ Laundry and ironing service with in-room pick-up and delivery (pricing and turnaround times available on-site).

•⁠ Organisation of private lunches or dinners in the palace, at an additional cost of €60–70 per person depending on the menu and selected wine pairing (booking required at least 48 hours in advance).

•⁠ Possibility of hiring a private chef for the entire stay (price to be determined). A minimum notice of 30 days is required for this service.
