Your host: This is the passion that drives Frédéric and Sylvie, who have always bathed in the world of tourism since they left the school benches. In 2002, they will buy an old 18th century farmhouse in ruins and will decide to learn the old techniques of restoration to revive the 8 buildings of this hamlet of the Sheepfold. A challenge for those lovers of old stones who will play the card of an ecological restoration for a better quality of life. Previously Sylvie had been a tour guide for almost 30 years traveling the world and one day she decided to put her suitcases in a little paradise of L'Orne between hedgerow and Suisse Normande where nature is still preserved, where human values still have a meaning, where we are surrounded by passionate and passionate people, producers respectful of the cycles of nature and responsible agriculture whose products are worthy of honor. Frédéric, meanwhile, was for more than 10 years Grand Tourism driver and was able to share his passion for travel on European roads. In 2000, he exchanged his coach for a smaller vehicle in order to continue to transport his customers but ... taxi. Heating : wood-pellet stove on ground floor, electric upstairs (extra charge for electricity). Terrace, unfenced garden with apple & pear trees. Not far from 'Swiss Normandy' in the heart of the 'Houlme' region, the gîte is part of a series of farm buildings having been restored in line with former Art of the building trade: wood, cob, whitewash, etc. Fresh air, walks and relaxation await you!
