When we took over this Périgord family home in the 2000s, it was only inhabited by a family of birds that had made their nest in the mailbox. Two children later, the down-to-earth artist and dreamy scientist that we are now share our lives between two regions. We are happy to welcome you in this house, lovingly renovated by combining contemporary and old to keep the soul of the place while giving it a new life to which our hosts contribute.

Description of the accommodation

1 km from St Pierre de Chignac (butcher, bakery) and 17 km from Périgueux (all shops), independent house of 120 m2. On one level with a step for the living room. Kitchen. Living room lounge area with WiFi internet connection and insert fireplace. 1 bedroom: 1 160 cm bed, shower room and WC. 1 bedroom: 1 160cm bed and 1 90cm bed, shower room and WC. Enclosed land of approximately 500 m2 with private parking in front of the gîte. 2 terraces. Barbecue. Garden Lounge. Sun bathing. Swing. Games for children. Cleaning at end of stay 80€. Sheets, bathroom linen, heating, wood and electricity included. Our little nest is ideally located in the heart of Périgord. You will fly from there to discover the many sites of the region all within an hour, you will walk in the surrounding woods, follow the hiking trails or rest on site while enjoying the accommodation. You will be close to many tourist places to visit: International Center for Cave Art Lascaux 4 at 36 km in Montignac, Les Eyzies de Tayac, capital of Prehistory at 35 km and Périgueux at 17 km, town classified as a 'Ville d 'Art and History'...
