When we took over this Périgord family home in the 2000s, it was only inhabited by a family of birds that had made their nest in the mailbox. Two children later, the down-to-earth artist and dreamy scientist that we are now share our lives between two regions. We are happy to welcome you in this house, lovingly renovated by combining contemporary and old to keep the soul of the place while giving it a new life to which our hosts contribute.

Description of the accommodation

1 km from St Pierre de Chignac (butcher, bakery) and 17 km from Périgueux (all shops), independent house of 160 m2. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen. By going up a small step, you will access the living room, with a lounge area with WiFi internet connection and insert fireplace. Through the corridor, you will have access to a 1st bedroom with 1 160x200 bed, a bathroom and WC adjoining the bedroom. A 2nd bedroom with 1 160x200 bed and 1 90x190 bed, a bathroom and WC adjoining the bedroom. Upstairs, accessible by a gently sloping staircase, a 3rd bedroom with 2 80x200 beds, a 4th bedroom with 1 160x200 bed. Upstairs you have a bathroom with a bathtub and separate toilet. .
On enclosed grounds of approximately 500 m2 with parking, you can enjoy 2 terraces, a barbecue, garden furniture, sun loungers. Swing. Games for children. The nest is ideally located in the heart of Périgord. You will fly from there to discover the many sites of the region all within an hour, you will walk in the surrounding woods, follow the hiking trails or rest on site while enjoying the accommodation. You will be close to many tourist places to visit: International Center for Cave Art Lascaux 4 at 36 km in Montignac, Les Eyzies de Tayac, capital of Prehistory at 35 km and Périgueux at 17 km, classified 'Ville d 'Art and History'...
