We met in Paris, then we lived near Annecy and in Marseille. But it is here that we decided to put down our suitcases after discovering this beautiful Landes region.
Having a gîte has always been a dream because we ourselves are users of gîtes and B&Bs and appreciate the relationships that can be formed on these occasions.

Description of the accommodation

Ideal location for this beautiful property between the countryside and the ocean, at the gates of the Marais d'Orx nature reserve, close to the Landes beaches, the Basque coast and Spain. In a true green setting, Gîte Les Dunes welcomes you in a privileged setting offering you calm and serenity for your vacation or business trip. Housed in an authentic traditional 17th century farm, this gîte does not lack charm and character. The exposed beams, wood and stone recall the history of the place. Combined with quality modern equipment and sober decoration, a warm atmosphere emanates from this holiday home where you feel good. You will even be able to discover some sculptures and small objects made by the owner who will be happy to introduce you and share her art with you during introductory courses in sculpture and engraving. In short, an address we like! This vacation rental is adjoining the owners' home and a second rental. It benefits from a private outdoor space, a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Ping pong is available. Laid out on two levels, it is composed on the ground floor of a beautiful living room with dining area and lounge area (TV, WIFI, pellet stove), a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric oven, microwave), a bedroom (1 bed 160), a bathroom (shower), a toilet, a laundry area with combined washing machine and dryer -laundry. Upstairs, two adjoining attic bedrooms offering 1 140 cm bed and 2 80 cm beds which can be presented as a double bed. Sheets, bathroom linen and household linen are included. Baby equipment (travel cot, high chair, changing mat) can be provided on request.
