Description of the accommodation

Live to the rhythm of gentle Angevin in this charming domain of La Guimonière. This large family gîte is located in Rochefort sur Loire, 30 minutes from Angers and 5km from the Loire. You will be accommodated in an outbuilding of the castle, a family property dating from the 15th century, in the heart of the vineyard. Completely restored in the local style, this cottage combines comfort and charm thanks to a cozy and refined interior.

On the ground floor: living room of 35m² with dining area, lounge with fireplace, television and home cinema, kitchen of 16m², separate WC with hand basin, and Orangeraie lounge (20m²) with its large windows overlooking on the park. This living room transforms into a bedroom for 2 people with a 140x190cm convertible sofa when you come with 10 people.

A bedroom with private bathroom is also located on the ground floor (shower, toilet and sink).

Upstairs: a first bedroom with a 180x200cm bed (or 2 x 90cm) and a 120x190cm bed. A second bedroom with 1 bed of 160x200cm (or 2x80cm) and an alcove separated by a screen with a bed of 140x190cm. The bathroom is located on the landing. Independent toilets.

Outside, a pretty terrace with garden furniture and a private garden overlooking the woods are reserved for you. You will find there in particular relaxation lounge, deck chairs, barbecue, swing. Also enjoy the 3-hectare park with its 300-year-old trees, the woods, the groves, the bower, the belvedere with a view of the vineyard. Provision of leisure equipment: football field, ping-pong table, slide, swing, badminton net, trampoline.

Direct access to marked hiking and mountain biking trails. Loire à Vélo cycle route is located 7 km away. A closed room will be available to store bicycles.

Thanks to google maps or Waze, you can find your route by typing Château de la Guimonière, it's very practical! - From Angers towards Cholet: Motorway A87 exit n°24 (or N160) then at the 3rd roundabout take the direction of Chalonnes/Loire (D54)(1st right after Sud Loire Caravanes). After the Hameau du Breuil, the Château de la Guimonière is the first property on your left, immediately after the sign for a place called Guimonière. If you've passed the TV antenna, turn around, you've gone too far! - From Nantes: Motorway A11 exit n°19 Chalonnes/Loire then at Chalonnes, take the direction of Saint Aubin de Luigné (D54) then direction Beaulieu/Layon. Pass in front of the TV antenna on your left, the Château de la Guimonière is the 1st property on your right immediately after the sign for a place called Guimonière.
