Nearby, you can hike on the Cantal mountains (Puy de Bâne, Puy Griou, Plomb du Cantal...), practice cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding in Pailherols, downhill skiing at the Super- Lioran, swimming and fishing in the Truyère gorges. You can also visit the medieval towns of Vic-sur-Cère and Mur-de-Barrez as well as the castles of Pesteils and Messilhac.
