Coming from Mayenne on the D 23, at La Haie-Traversaine, turn left at the entrance to the village (Rue de la Colmont). The road crosses the subdivision. Exit to the left. Then take the 1st road on the right "Route de la Teurerie". Continue for 3 km and turn right "La haute fumière". The La Haute Fumière gîte is at the end of the small road, at number 175.

Description of the accommodation

Nature lovers, you will enjoy walking to the river, collecting chestnuts and hazelnuts.
Fisherman? Take advantage of this space just for you. The Colmont, 1st category river, fishing with minnows and natural baits, fly [hidden] width of 5 to 10 meters with a fast current. (No kill fly course on Oisseau).
As a family, the large grounds and the swing (rope and swing) allow outdoor games.
Also take advantage of the Haie Traversaine leisure center 3 km away (free supervised swimming, inflatable structure courses, paddle, canoe, etc.), Vaux park in Ambrieres les Vallées 7 km away with its municipal swimming pool, fishing, horse riding open all year round, canoeing in summer, tennis and 18-hole mini golf from April to October.
In terms of heritage, the territory is rich: visit the castles of Sainte Suzanne, Lassay les châteaux and Mayenne. Discover the seaside resort of Bagnoles de l'Orne (35km).
The gîte is an independent 19th century house located in a hamlet and has enclosed grounds of 3000m². On the ground floor you have a 60m² living room with equipped kitchen, lounge area and dining room. Upstairs, 3 bedrooms, 4 beds and a bathroom - 2 separate toilets.
The living room allows you to invite a little family up to 20 people (crockery, table, chairs available).
All shops in Oisseau (3.6 km) and Ambrières les Vallées (7km).

Professional stays: the 3 bedrooms and 4 beds can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. Cleaning and linens required. Stay 1 to 14 nights: 1 cleaning option and 1 linen option.

Very large lawn with swing for children. Semi-enclosed land because a passage has been made to access the path which leads to the river 150m below, through the back of the house. Access to the woods along the Colmont, fishing river, with federal card.
Electric heating + insert fireplace with heat sent upstairs.

Option: 70€ cleaning - 10€ sheets/bed - 5€ towels/pers - 55€ per stere of wood from consumption of 1 stere - Electricity > 8kWh/day to be paid to the owner at the end of the stay , on meter reading, EDF rate in force - If animal accepted: €5/night/animal - If additional person in tent or camper van €5/person/night - If use of the room to accommodate family €50 /day for 20 people max.
