Description of the accommodation

La Prize d'eau is a very original gite: from its heart came the water that fed the steam trains! You will be able to observe what is left of it in the living room thanks to a glazed floor. Exceptional!
You will appreciate the beautiful volumes of the living rooms (37m²), the kitchen open to the large living room with insert fireplace, completed by a bright veranda overlooking the wooden terrace, overlooking the garden, offering a view of the river, the Vicoin . 2 bedrooms (1 with 160*190 bed and 1 with 2 90*190 beds). Separate toilets. Bathroom with shower cubicle and heated towel rail complete with a blower.
The private garden is partly fenced (remains an open part), largely lawned, completed by a petanque court and a portico with swings. Fixed barbecue, garden furniture and private parking.
For your leisure activities, the greenway (bike-pedestrians) is 500m away. You can spend a nice day going to Saint-Berthevin: forest, swimming pool, river, and restaurant. You can also join the Huisserie then the Mayenne towpath, known as the Vélo Francette (from Caen to La Rochelle).

Laval is 10 minutes away by car: theatre, museum, cinema, golf course, marina, boat and bicycle rental, and of course the historic heart of Laval with its medieval castle and its 17th century dwelling. The Old Castle houses the Museum of Naive Art and Unique Arts of Laval (the MANA). Henri Rousseau, known as le Douanier, originally from Laval, illustrates this artistic movement.

The river, the Vicoin (2nd category), offers the possibility of fishing depending on the water level of the river - fishing card required. The cottage offers a fishing room with water point and refrigerator, outside the house.

Professional stay: 3 people maximum. Compulsory cleaning and linen options. 1 cleaning for 1 to 14 nights.

Weekend stay: arrival on Friday at the end of the day - departure on Sunday during the day.
Stay at 7 nights: arrival at the end of the day and departure in the morning at 10am.

Bike room - Hard charcoal barbecue - Petanque ground - Children's climbing frame - Fishing room and washing machine (refrigerator - sink).
Floor: mezzanine with sofa bed, office and play area.
Baby equipment: cot, high chair, bath. Prevent to dispose of it.
Wifi - Television.
Heating by heat pump and radiant radiator, payment on meter reading (> 8kWh/d) with the owner to be paid at the end of the stay to the owner.
If you do not take the cleaning option, a cleaning deposit check will be requested upon entering the gîte and returned at the end of your stay.
