Gite Mont-Saint-Jean, 3 bedrooms, 8 persons - FR-1-819-305

In the heart of the quiet hamlet of Ormancey, overlooking the medieval village of Mont-St-Jean, this detached, semi-detached house has been completely renovated in an authentic and environmentally friendly style. Ground floor: equipped kitchen, laundry room, separate toilet. A few steps lead to the pleasant living-dining room with a wood-burning stove. Upstairs: two bedrooms, each with two 80x200cm beds that can be combined into a queen-size bed. Shower room with toilet. A third large bedroom with two 80x200cm beds that can be combined and two 80x190cm trundle beds, features a private bathroom and toilet. A lovely terrace with a lean-to and a 150m² enclosed garden. The gîte is equipped for young children (up to two babies are possible). There is communal land opposite the gîte for parking.

A renowned restaurant in the commune, and gourmet restaurants in Saulieu are just a few kilometers away. Nearby: hiking trails, Panthier Lake, the medieval village of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, one of the most beautiful villages in France, the Burgundy Canal Interpretation Center Cap Canal in Pouilly-en-Auxois, with the possibility of a cruise on the Billebaude River. Alésia Museum Park is 35 km away. A 10-minute drive from the A6 motorway allows access to Beaune, the capital of Burgundy, and Dijon, the Roman city of Autun, and the abbeys of Vézelay and Fontenay, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Chailly-sur-Armançon golf course and castle are 7 km away.
