LA RESIDENCE
L'ESTRAN residence in Les Sables d'Olonne is located in the Chateau d'Olonne, facing the sea and the "Puits d'Enfer" area of Olonne, and is 1.5km from Tanchet beach and 4km from the Sables d'Olonne's large beaches. This residence is 200m from the closest shops and 2km from a shopping centre. The residence offers accommodation in apartments situated in small two storey buildings (no lifts) and three storey buildings (with lifts).A cycle path running along the coastline offers easy access to the centre of the resort itself.

LOCATION
Les Sables d'Olonne is a lively resort, known as the Perle de la Cote de Lumiere for its magnificent south-facing fine sandy beach and exceptionally mild climate. The large bustling fishing port, with pretty quays and marina, make this an attractive and exciting coastal destination.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
A variety of activities are available in the resort, including watersports, horse-riding, tennis and golf, rambling trails through the resort's vast green spaces, dunes and wetland forests offering preserved flora and fauna. Plus, enjoy spa treatments at the thalassatherapy centre and browsing the four street markets held in the pedestrianised city centre. The resort also has a casino, nightclub and bowling alley.

Amongst the Vendee's must visit destinations, the fine sands of the famous Les Sables d'Olonne resort and the unique "Marais Poitevin" wet and drylands, situated further inland, should both be top of all visitors lists. The "Marais Poitevin" are best explored by boat, where visitors can glide along through the network of rivers and canals dotted by quaint little bridges that typify this distinct part of the Vendee.
