Between the Cantal mountains and the Sancy massif, this region is ideal for outdoor activities: hiking (Puy Mary, Puy de Sancy, Cézallier, etc.), fishing (river, Trizac and Menet lakes, ...), swimming and water activities at the lakes of Trizac, Bort les Orgues and Lastioulles, Nordic activities (Falgoux cross-country ski resort, Super-Lioran and Chastreix-Sancy ski resorts).
