Description of the accommodation

In the heart of the Creuse Valley, less than a kilometer (on foot) from a beach and 5 minutes from Argenton-sur-Creuse, old rehabilitated forge with sauna and 300 meters from:

Project 2024 New rectangular swimming pool (5.5 x 10) with full-width staircase, opening May 2024. Work in progress.

A swimming pool on the site of the other gîtes, heated depending on the weather (shared with 3 other gîtes) from May to September, with a depth of 1.50 meters, a chalet (shower and WC); authorized hours 10 [hidden], 9 [hidden] and a wood-heated Nordic bath (not functional July, August);

To visit: Gargilesse-Dampierre (one of the most beautiful villages in France), Argentomagus, La Brenne or even Lake Eguzon. Zoo Parc de BEAUVAL at 1h15. On the ground floor: Living room and kitchen fitted out in the old forge with its red brick fireplace and a wall-mounted wood stove - pantry - toilet - bathroom with walk-in shower and sauna.

On the 1st floor: a master bedroom with 1 bed of 160 x 200 cm with bathtub and island including sink and toilet - living room with office area.

On the 2nd floor: bedroom with 1 160 x 200 cm bed and 1 single bed - Zen corner on the mezzanine (2 extra foam chairs).
For good insulation, the walls are coated with a hemp and lime mixture.

Public parking on the square 50 meters away.

Electric heating (billed on consumption) and wood (€45 per stere).
Green space 300m away on the common area of the other gîtes, 2800 m² with trampoline and table tennis, pétanque court;

Greenway 2 minutes away, possibility of renting bikes in Argenton sur Creuse
