After having been respectively Journalist and Director of an organization in the dairy sector, we chose to join the family farm to create a farm inn. We then decided to extend this welcoming activity by transforming an old barn into rural lodgings. We like to receive our guests and share good things with them (we are very greedy!). We are also very committed in our respective professions to help build a fair future.

Description of the accommodation

Association of 2 lodgings that can be grouped together, able to accommodate a total of 13 people on 3 levels. A first gîte "La Basse Cour" n° 4292 of 110 m² on the ground floor and first floor with living room of 55 m² with equipped kitchen and living room where the whole family can meet to eat, 2 bedrooms including one on the ground floor -ground floor, second living room upstairs which offers direct access to the 12 m² patio, which ensures communication between the two gîtes. A second gîte "Le Poulailler" n° 4293 of 130 m² on the ground floor and first floor, living room of 40 m² with fitted kitchen and lounge, 3 bedrooms including one on the ground floor. The La Basse-cour gîte is Tourism and Handicap approved for mental and hearing impairments. Outdoor space with garden furniture. Located 20 minutes from Saint-Étienne. Free WiFi. Extension possible for 5 more people for a total of 19 people. Parking for 5 cars. For your comfort, charges are included in the rental price. Ideal for meeting up with friends or family, while remaining independent! These lodgings have been built in an old barn whose stone and wood characteristics have been preserved and enhanced. We will particularly appreciate the freshness of the rooms during the hot summer days and the large capacity of the gîte. In the mid-season, wood stoves provide pleasant warmth as supplementary heating. Located on the edge of the Parc du Pilat, our cottage is ideally located for lovers of outdoor activities: hiking, geocaching, climbing (natural climbing site less than 10 km) while remaining close to the main shops and metropolises such as Saint-Etienne (30 mins) and Lyon (50 mins).
