I was born in La Roque Gageac and more precisely in this gite which is my family home. I live in Paris where I am the Director of Société Générale de Presse. My professional occupations often keeping me far from the Dordogne, I have delegated the management of my gîte to Jacques Leydis who will give you the best welcome and will guide you during your stay in our beautiful region.

Description of the accommodation

At the exit of La Roque Gageac (Shops and restaurants 500 m away), independent house of 170 m2 in a non-active farmhouse. Ground floor: Kitchen. Living room with lounge area and decorative fireplace. Small relaxation lounge. Laundry room. Separate WC. Floor: 2 bedrooms: 2 90 cm beds and 1 140 cm bed. Bathroom with WC. Additional electric heating (2 radiators). Unfenced land of 4000 m2 surrounded by a hedge or fence. Covered terrace/Summer dining room. Garden Lounge. Barbecue/fireplace. Linen and electricity included. Towels €15/person/change. Sheets €20/bed/change. End of stay cleaning €50. Gîte with shaded courtyard and view of a vast meadow located in La Roque-Gageac, classified among the 'Most Beautiful Villages of France' and ideal starting point for the tourist sites of Périgord Noir: Château de Beynac, de Castelnaud, des Milandes, Bastide de Domme, Sarlat 10 km away (medieval town with exceptional heritage)... You will also enjoy barge and canoe trips on the Dordogne, fishing 200 m away, hot air balloon rides 500 m away and garden visits ( Eyrignac, Marqueyssac...). Without forgetting Prehistory 35 km away with the International Center for Cave Art Lascaux 4 in Montignac. Walking trails 500 m away.
