LOCATION
Flanked on the mountain side overlooking the valley across to Les Arcs, MONTCHAVIN (
1250m
) is a traditional mountain village with an attractive pedestrianised centre. Offering modern facilities and a convenient location at the centre of the massive Paradiski domain, it is the perfect setting for families and groups of varied abilities. The resort is located near Les Coches where the Vanoise Express cable car links La Plagne to Les Arcs.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
As part of the Domaine La Plagne, Montchavin offers skiers access to 225km of downhill ski slopes.
A total 425km of slopes are available as part of wider Paradiski domain, which links the La Plagne and Les Arcs ski domains.

CHILDREN
Montchavin offers a baby club for children aged between 12 months and 3 years, as well as a ski-club offering tuition to children aged 3 years and over.

SKI RUNS
Montchavin offers access to 16km of croos-country ski trails.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Montchavin is easily accessible by coach or taxi from Landry train station (10km), as well as Chambery (115km), Geneva (150km) and Lyon/Satolas (190km) airports.
Montchavin is a well-equipped resort, offering all necessary amenities, such as doctors and pharmacy, cash machines and a bank (located in Montchavin centre), as well as mini-market and local convenience stores.
