In the heart of Anjou, 10 minutes from Saumur, you are welcome in this gite in Saint Martin de la Place, located 500 meters from the Loire. This village will be an ideal base for exploring the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Natura 2000, to be visited on foot, by bike (including the Loire by bike route ), by canoe, on horseback and why not in a hot air balloon!

The nearby surroundings leave you with a wide choice of visits to do during your stay: castles of Saumur (11 km), Brézé (25 km) and Angers (40 km), Cadre Noir (11 km), Royal Abbey of Fontevraud (25 km), Terra Botanica (40 km), churches with twisted steeples (particularly in Baugeois), museums, forest walks, Saumur and Anjou vineyards, troglodyte sites, Bioparc de Doué-en-Anjou 28 km away ... Enough to fill out the activity program!
