The Gîte is located at the bottom of the Place du Port. Pass in front of the pier, continue without crossing the small bridge. It's on the left, last house before the conch. Blue gate with Gîtes de France signs and L'Oiseleur -Nymphéa signs above the gate.

Description of the accommodation

Old house adjoining the owner's accommodation and another gîte H85G014261 (Nymphéa) on an enclosed property of 1,200 m², located in the village of Damvix in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, on the edge of the Conche des Oisiliers, close to the Sèvre Niortaise and the Embarcadère de Damvix. Ground floor: living room/kitchen, small lounge (BZ), shower room/WC accessible to disabled people. Floor: bedroom-living room (2 90cm beds separated from the living room by screens), bathroom/WC, 2 bedrooms (1 140cm bed) (1 140cm bed). Baby equipment. Wireless. 2 televisions, one of which is connected. 2 patios with garden furniture to the south and north, deckchairs and gas barbecue. Petanque court shared by the 2 gîtes. Car parking. 2 boats, 2 canoes, 1 pedal boat, available free of charge at any time with life jackets and maps. Fishing on site. Shops on site (bakery, supermarket, butcher, honey store, pharmacy, doctor). Small market on Wednesday. Public swimming pool open on summer afternoons in Benet (13km) and Xanton Chassenon lake 19 km away. Scarecrow Festival in Damvix from May (fun walking circuit, 3km signposted).
