LA RESIDENCE
LE DOMAINE DES CAZELLES in Cajarc in the Dordogne/Lot region is located 900m from the centre of Cajarc and its shops. This residence offers accommodation in around 100 holiday houses set in small, hamlet-style groups offering views over the Lot Valley and the village of Cajarc.
The houses are located by the GR65 route (perfect as a starting point for hiking) which runs across the Lozere and Lot regions on the way to the Landes region and Spain,25 km from Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, one of the most beautiful villages in France.

LOCATION
The mediaeval city of Cajarc is located on the banks of the Lot river, and is nestled amongst the cliffs and canyons that characterise the surrounding countryside of the Dordogne region. This quiet town was once home to two of France's most celebrated figures, the writer Francoise Sagan (
born in Cajarc
) and former French President Georges Pompidou, who worked as a town councillor in Cajarc, and is the perfect place for a relaxed getaway and chance to escape daily life.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
As well as relaxing in its peaceful countryside settings, visitors to Cajarc can enjoy sightseeing by helicopter or hot air balloon, boat trips and kayaking on the Lot river, cycling, motorcycling, quad biking, horse-riding, swimming and rambling.
