In Berry, 5 minutes from the town of La Châtre, the gîte is in a peasant house leaning against a hillside, with the George Sand House, the Jacques Tati museum, the fishing sites, the departments of Creuse and du Cher... House with enclosed shaded private garden and private parking.
On one level: living room with kitchen and fireplace (bench, 2 comfortable folding armchairs) - shower room - wc - 1 bedroom (1 double bed, baby travel cot).

Electric heating included in the price.
Sheets provided free of charge (bed made).

The owners cultivate a plot of Safran just behind the gîte. They will be happy to share their knowledge of "red gold" with you and can offer a few grams for sale.

Optional services to be paid on site and to be reserved before your arrival:
