Description of the accommodation

In the town of Alleyrac, a village of 120 inhabitants, this 2-ear communal gîte is an ideal starting point for short hikes accessible to all. On foot, by bike or with a donkey (Rando-âne, 50 m from the gîte, offers donkey rentals by the hour, the day or more), the village has a network of short marked hiking trails , on the Mézenc plateau and on the edge of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park. In the Sucs de Breysse, a biological site remarkable for its fauna and flora, the landscape has been shaped by ancient volcanic activity. A circuit departing from Alleyrac allows you to discover them. For winter sports enthusiasts, 10 km away, the Estables resort offers downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snow kiting, tobogganing, etc.

In the hamlet of Malhac, the Béate museum is open to visitors. 10 km away, Monastier-sur-Gazeille offers a rich cultural offering: visit to the Abbey Church and museums (museum of popular beliefs, museum of the Ancienne Ecole, European Cultural Space), Brass Music Festival, etc. 25 km away, Puy-en-Velay completes the range of fun, sporting or cultural activities: Crozatier museum, aqua-leisure center, cinema...

On the village square, the School offers all the services of a café restaurant: catering, bread delivery, convenience store. Monastier-sur-Gazeille has all the shops and a weekly market on Tuesday mornings and local producers every Thursday evening in July and August. On Saturday morning, the Puy-en-Velay market surprises all visitors with the diversity of farm and artisanal products on offer: cold cuts and meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, and, of course, green lentils from Puy. In the heart of the village, the cottage has a large living room with kitchen open to the living room (fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and ceramic hob, flat screen TV). The sleeping area is made up of 3 bright bedrooms, the first two with a 140cm bed and wall cupboards and the last with two twin 90cm beds. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower.
