Renovated farmhouse in the heart of Burgundy

In the heart of the Burgundy countryside, the renovated, completely independent former farmhouse of a 19th-century château welcomes you for a relaxing stay with family or friends. The raised ground floor offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside and features a beautiful living room with a lounge area and pellet stove, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms with parquet flooring: one with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and the other with two single beds (90 cm) that can be joined together. Each bedroom has its own independent access and also shares a shower room. A separate toilet with a sink and washing machine is also provided. A large courtyard in front of the cottage and a garden of approximately 400 m² are available. Bicycle storage and four sun loungers are provided. Pets are not allowed.

Nearby: all shops are available in the village, 1.5 km away. The Auxois Zoological and Aquatic Park is 10 km away. Several lakes and bodies of water with supervised swimming in the summer are nearby: Nid à la Caille in Vénarey-Les Laumes, and the lakes of Pont, Grosbois, and Panthier. A cycle path runs along the Burgundy Canal. Numerous cultural sites are also within easy reach: the MuséoParc Alésia, Fontenay Abbey, and the medieval towns of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain (also known for its aniseed) and Semur-en-Auxois. The castles of Bussy-Rabutin and Epoisses are also worth a visit.

Sheets, final cleaning, electricity, and electric underfloor heating are included in the price. Pellet stove: 1 bag provided per day, otherwise €7 per bag. Towels: €5 per person for the stay.
