In Val-Mont, just outside a quiet village, 20 km from Beaune, the capital of Burgundy wines, this set of two gîtes (self-catering cottages) in the east wing of the Château de Coraboeuf (open to visitors year-round) can accommodate up to 12 people. The two cottages, the Gîte de la Marquise and the Gîte du Marquis, are adjoining and can be rented together, making them particularly suitable for holidays with family or friends.
The owners, who live in the main part of the château, welcome guests on-site and are available throughout their stay.
Upon arrival, guests can unload their luggage in the château courtyard. Parking is then available in the visitor parking area located at the entrance to the property (one space per vehicle).
Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher), a washing machine, and a comfortable living area. The Gîte de la Marquise has a television, while the Gîte du Marquis offers a projection system with Chromecast. Board games and a selection of books are also available.
For group stays, meals can be taken in the dining room of the Gîte du Marquis, making it easy for everyone to gather.
The property offers six bedrooms. Beds are made upon arrival, and towels are provided. Most beds are 160x200 cm, with some rooms offering flexible configurations such as single beds (90x200 cm) or a king-size bed (180x200 cm), upon request when booking.
Equipment for young children (travel cot, high chair, changing mat) can be provided upon prior request.
Wi-Fi is available in each cottage. Please note that the thickness of the castle walls may limit the signal outside.
The grounds include a large park accessible to guests, with dining areas, barbecues (one per cottage), lounge furniture, and recreational equipment including a ping-pong table.
A welcome guide is provided with suggestions for visits and restaurants. Bicycles are available for rent upon request.
For everyone's comfort, the entire property is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
End-of-stay cleaning, electricity, and heating are included in the price.
