Casa Alvorada, one of three stunning cottages in the Callebanda Barracol collection, is nestled in serene, breathtaking countryside 7 km north of historical Tavira. With its gorgeous traditional features and cosy furnishings this is the perfect location for a couples or family getaway. With 2 bedrooms, private plunge pool, bathroom, lounge, fully equipped kitchen, and a shaded terrace ideal for al fresco dining with views. A peaceful, idyllic escape just a short drive from towns and beaches.

INTERIOR
Step into a warm and welcoming rustic cottage, where traditional wooden furniture and exposed beams combine with a bright, open-plan living space perfect for couples or family. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher flows seamlessly into a large wooden dining table, perfect for catering shared meals. While at the other end, a cozy lounge space with a comfy sofa, two chairs, and a TV provides a relaxing spot to unwind, cooled by air conditioning in summer or warmed by a log burner in winter. To the rear of the cottage two beautifully appointed bedrooms—a king-size and a twin—plus a walk-in shower make this the ideal family escape. (The twin bedroom can also be made as king size bed).

EXTERIOR
Under a lovely shady terrace a large wooden dining table accommodates 10+ guests for long, leisurely lunches, al fresco dinners under the stars, or a traditional BBQ. The above-ground plunge pool offers a refreshing retreat on sunny days, making it the perfect place to relax, laugh, and soak up the serene countryside surroundings.


GENERAL NOTES

GETTING TO CALLEBANDA - The Callebanda cottages are located in beautifully picturesque countryside. There are no public transport links or amenities within walking distance, so it is essential that you have the use of a car when staying at this property.

ACCESS ROADS - From the main road to Callebanda (Barrocal), the route leads directly off a tarmacked road and then continues along a terrain track for approximately 800 metres. The track is fully passable, but care is advised. During the winter months, the dry riverbed may occasionally fill with water. If this happens, an alternative route will be provided.

PARKING - Ample parking is available within the property grounds, with space for several cars.

POOL MAINTENANCE - The plunge pools are maintained regularly to ensure your comfort and safety.

CLEANING SERVICES - For stays of 10 nights or longer, fresh sheets and a mid-stay cleaning service are provided.

AIR CONDITIONING - Each cottage is equipped with air conditioning to keep the space cool in summer and provide supplemental warmth in winter.

WINTER RENTALS - Each cottage includes a traditional wood burner. An unlimited supply of logs is provided for stays between 1 November and 31 March.

WI-FI - Reliable high-speed internet is available throughout the property, supplied via Starlink.

TV - Each cottage features a Smart TV, compatible with Firesticks, Netflix, and Amazon Prime accounts.

GUEST VERIFICATION & DAMAGE PROTECTION
For platforms that do not offer guest insurance, we work with Truvi, a leading guest-screening provider. Before your stay:
• You will verify your personal details.
• You can choose between a refundable damage deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
We recommend the damage waiver for peace of mind in case of accidental damage.
