Located near the center of the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois, this two-story gîte (entrance via the garage) offers, on the first floor: a separate living room with TV, a small bathroom with a walk-in shower, a separate toilet, and a kitchen/dining room with access to a small veranda and a fully enclosed garden with a terrace, garden furniture, a barbecue, a children's slide, and deck chairs. On the second floor: a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a travel cot with a changing table, a bedroom with two 90cm beds, and a separate toilet with a sink. A garage for small cars only. Bicycle storage is available. Easy and free on-street parking is available.

The medieval town of Semur offers all shops and services: worth seeing: fortified gates, ramparts, a keep, and steep alleys leading to the banks of the Armançon River are worth exploring day and night. Things to do: the Notre-Dame collegiate church, the museum, the little tourist train, the Orle d'Or tower. Nearby: the castles of Epoisses, Bourbilly, Bussy-Rabutin, the MuséoParc Alésia, the Fontenay Abbey (UNESCO heritage), Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Lac de Pont: equipped beach, water games... Hiking trails and interpretive trails in the canton. Medieval festivals of King Chaussé and the Fête de la Bague in June.
