In the heart of the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois, this cottage combines historic charm with modern comfort. Housed in a group of 15th-century buildings, it is quietly located at the end of the courtyard. On the ground floor: a spacious entrance hall with a foosball table, shower room, and toilet. A fully equipped kitchen opens onto a raised living room, welcoming with its pellet stove. A bright dining room is located in a heated veranda overlooking the garden. A Delonghi bean-to-cup coffee machine is also available. A bedroom with two 100x190 cm beds provides access to a second bedroom upstairs with a double bed and a single bed, an adjoining shower room and toilet. A separate studio with a double bed, a single bed, a kitchenette, a shower room, and toilet is also accessible from the ground floor bedroom.

Outside, enjoy a 500 m² enclosed garden with breathtaking views of the collegiate church, a heated swimming pool (7.32 x 3.66 m, open from April to September, weather permitting), an electric barbecue, four bicycles and an exercise bike. Electric vehicle charging station. Free street parking.

Semur can be reached in 1.5 hours from Paris Gare de Lyon via TGV to Montbard (19 km), then by TER bus, which stops 200 m away. The medieval town is brimming with charm, with its ramparts, fortified gates, keep, and narrow streets leading to the banks of the Armançon River. Highlights include the Notre-Dame collegiate church, the museum, the tourist train, and the Orle d'Or tower. Nearby: the castles of Epoisses, Bourbilly, and Bussy-Rabutin, Fontenay Abbey (UNESCO), Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, Alésia Museum Park, and Pont Lake (beach, water parks). Numerous hiking trails spanning 320 km of marked trails. The King Chaussé Medieval Festival and the Fête de la Bague (Festival of the Ring) are held in June.
