Description of the accommodation

Gite Quincy-le-Vicomte, 1 bedroom, 2 persons - FR-1-819-406

In the heart of a charming little village surrounded by nature, this renovated house is arranged over two levels. Ground floor: bright kitchen-dining room, one bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm), with direct access to the bathroom and toilet. Upstairs: living room with television, a three-seater sofa (two of which are recliners), and a single bed (120 cm). Private courtyard of 140 m². Quiet, unfenced garden of 30 m² with views of the surrounding countryside. Private parking. The house shares a wall with the owners' residence but has its own entrance and courtyard. The owners offer introductory watercolor painting and basket weaving workshops.

Kitchen linen, bed linen, end-of-stay cleaning, and oil heating are included in the rates.

A locked barn is available for storing your bicycles.

Close to the iconic tourist sites of the Auxois region: Pont Lake, with its equipped beach, supervised swimming in summer, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking around the lake. A water sports center, museums, the Burgundy Canal, and all shops are available in Montbard (10 km), the town of Buffon. Fontenay Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Buffon Forges. Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval town. MuséoParc Alésia, an interpretation center in Alise-Sainte-Reine. Bussy-Rabutin Castle. Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of the most beautiful villages in France. Numerous hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area. Fishing is possible on the banks of the Armançon River.
