Les Chaumes en Morvan, an old Morvan house in the southern Morvan Regional Natural Park, which we have renovated in the most eco-friendly way while still providing the comfort we aspire to.
It's an ideal escape to recharge your batteries and enjoy some quality time, to reconnect with nature, enjoy outdoor sports, and even work remotely in a magical setting. Experience speaks for itself! And for photography lovers, it's an ideal place... It's a comfortable and welcoming cottage for 4 to 6 people. You'll find:

On the ground floor: A large living room with a wood-burning stove, opening onto the fully equipped kitchen (32m²), washing machine, dishwasher, oven and microwave, refrigerator-freezer, small appliances, and kitchen utensils; a small bathroom with a toilet and walk-in shower; a living room with countryside views and a tuned piano. On the first floor: one bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed; a second bedroom with two twin beds (can be converted into a double bed); a mezzanine with a double sofa (extra bed), an office with a TV area. A bathroom with a toilet and walk-in shower.

The cottage is located on a 2000 m² plot of land, surrounded by hedges, typical of the region. The grounds are not fenced. The garden offers various relaxation areas with different views. Garden furniture, a parasol, a barbecue, and deckchairs are available. A path leads past the house to the neighboring fields. The cottage can accommodate up to one pet, provided it is clean and quiet.

Bed, kitchen, and bathroom linens are provided, beds are made upon arrival, and end-of-stay cleaning is included.
Options and charges: heating and electricity are extra, depending on the meter reading (charged for use over 8 kWh/day).

The house is located at the edge of the hamlet of Villars, 8 km from the village of Moulins Engilbert, which we love. It offers all amenities and food shops: supermarket, pharmacy, post office, newsagent, tobacconist, bakeries, restaurants, and even a wine shop!

The Morvan offers a multitude of outdoor activities: hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.
Lakes are 45 minutes from the house for swimming, water sports, fishing, and whitewater sports.
The region also offers historical sites such as the Bibracte archaeological site (25 minutes from the house), Autun Cathedral, and the Saint-Honoré-les-Bains thermal baths.
