The Rotonde room, a 50 m² haven of peace on the first floor of the Château des Métairies, offers breathtaking views of the large wooded park surrounded by historic walls. You will be the only guests in the château! Secure covered parking is available.

This room is decorated with antique furniture and offers modern comforts with its king-size bed (180 x 200 cm), dressing room, large-screen TV, minibar, and a welcome tray. Its large private bathroom, overlooking the park, is equipped with a bathtub, walk-in shower, heated towel rail, double vanity, and separate toilet.

In the lounge and its large dining room, you are in the ideal place to experience château life, for one or more nights in this exceptional guest room. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:30 am.

Our guests have free access to the gym (treadmill and rowing machine). Access to the wellness area (spa, sauna, hammam) is available for two hours by arrangement with the owners, and a massage area is available for your well-being, provided by a professional therapist by prior appointment.

The Château des Métairies, built in 1873 by Maurice Bert de la Bussière, is a historic property that has been completely renovated to offer our guests the utmost comfort.

Our property is located in a small town with all shops and restaurants nearby, and its Tranchant Group casino is just 6 minutes away for those who enjoy games of chance.

Motorsport enthusiasts will also be delighted; the Magny-Cours circuit is a 20-minute drive away. An 18-hole golf course is also 20 minutes away. The train station, served by trains to Paris and Clermont-Ferrand, is a 5-minute walk from the château.

For travelers, the town's location is strategic. Designated a "village d'étape" (a designated stopover village) for many years, Pougues-les-Eaux has direct access to the A77 motorway.

Nevers is 8 km away, with its Ducal Palace and earthenware museum well worth a visit.

During your stay at the château, you can enjoy the proximity of the Sancerre and Pouilly vineyards, where you can taste exquisite wines and discover the charm of this renowned wine region.
