Ideally located for exploring the fortified city of Avallon with its historic district (Collégiale Saint-Lazare, Grenier à Sel), its market, and its museums, then exploring the magnificent steep-sided Cousin Valley, renowned for its numerous mills and its historic district (Collégiale Saint-Lazare, Grenier à Sel, etc.), and arriving in Vézelay, a village and basilica listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A little further (30 km), you can visit Semur-en-Auxois and Noyers-sur-Serein, listed among the most beautiful villages in France.
But above all, you can stroll through the Morvan Natural Park and admire its renowned lakes and forests.
