Description of the accommodation

Gite Ouroux-en-Morvan, 1 bedroom, 2 persons - FR-1-819-1217

Directly from the gîte, the hiking trail provides access to the GR de Pays Tour du Morvan and the Vézelay-Autun Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago), both of which pass through Ouroux-en-Morvan. It also connects to the GR13 long-distance hiking trail, as well as many other remarkable sites (the Maquis Bernard, Lake Pannecière, the Banquet Chapel, etc.). Horseback riding and cycling/mountain biking routes (GTM/Grande Traversée du Morvan) are also easily accessible.

Beyond hiking, numerous other sporting activities are available, including all kinds of water sports and fishing, thanks to the many lakes and ponds in the Morvan Regional Natural Park. The gîte is on one level, designed to make daily life easier for seniors, and is adjacent to the owner's accommodation.

The living area is equipped with two armchairs, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, and a stereo system (Bluetooth/USB/MP3/CD player/radio). Also in the living room, you'll find secure Wi-Fi, a small library of books and DVDs, board games, and outdoor games.
The kitchen area with dining space is fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric oven, microwave, gas stove, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, steamer, and tableware for six people!
Also available are an iron and ironing board, clothes drying racks, and a vacuum cleaner. The bedroom has a king-size bed (180x200 cm) that can be configured as two single beds (90x200 cm).
The bathroom features a walk-in shower (non-slip, with a shower seat and grab bar), a sink and toilet (with two grab bars), a hairdryer, and a heated towel rail. The private terrace is furnished with a table and chairs for four, a garden lounge set for four, two sun loungers, a parasol, and… a barbecue for sunny days!
All windows are equipped with mosquito nets (Charolais cattle farm nearby).
