Luxury modern holiday apartment with 3 bedrooms and private plunge pool on the
terrace with sea views.
Just a 10 minute walk to the beach and promenade of La Cala de Mijas and a 7
minute walk to shops and restaurants. This spacious penthouse with 3 bedrooms
and 3 en-suite bathrooms is located in the luxury resort Lotus Jardinana on the
edge of the famous fishing village of La Cala de Mijas.
The penthouse is on the third floor of a 3 storey building. It is stylishly
furnished and has a large terrace with a private plunge pool where you can
relax in the sun. The terrace also has an outdoor kitchen with a dining table
and 6 chairs, comfortable lounge furniture and two sunbeds. From the terrace
you can enjoy views of the surrounding area, the sea and the mountains of Mijas.
The modern furnished living/dining room has a fully equipped modern open plan
kitchen with an island. The seating area has a Smart TV with international
channels including UK channels and many sports channels. Sliding glass doors
lead out to the spacious private terrace.
Adjacent to the living room is the spacious master bedroom with en-suite
bathroom, fitted wardrobes and sliding doors to the terrace with stunning views
of the surrounding countryside and the sea. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms also have
en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers.
There are two private parking spaces in the basement car park with lift
access to the penthouse.
The penthouse is very suitable for families with children.
Lotus Jardinana in La Cala de Mijas
The location of Lotus Jardinana is unique. It is situated on the edge of the
beautiful former fishing village of La Cala de Mijas. La Cala is a jewel on the
eastern Costa del Sol. La Cala is known for its wide sandy beach and a
developing restaurant scene (Spanish, Indian, Italian, British, Thai, etc.)
which shows that this village is on the rise. Try the famous Olvia's la Cala
restaurant and cocktail bar with live music. There are also many bars and
terraces, shops and local markets and there are several golf courses nearby. A
walk along the beach is also highly recommended. From the old watchtower in La
Cala you can walk along the beautiful beach path (el sendero) to Cabopino
Marina. (6.8km in total) The old watchtower in La Cala is just 1km from Lotus
Jardinana. This watchtower, Torre de La Cala, is a focal point. There is an
exhibition centre where you can see photos of the original fishing village of
La Cala. You can also climb to the top of the tower and admire the beautiful
views.
At the end of July is the Feria of La Cala de Mijas, this normally lasts 4
days usually at the end of July and is in the area where the weekly market is
normally held.

door, an enclosed terrace with an outdoor shower with 100% privacy where you
can enjoy an outdoor shower under the sun.

third bathroom also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Terrace
* from the living room you access the spacious terrace with its own splash

* On the terrace you can enjoy a delicious breakfast or dinner at the dining
table with 6 chairs, or cool off and relax in the private plunge pool (not
heated) and then enjoy a refreshing drink on the lounge set and 2 sun beds.
Important:Once a week someone from the pool company comes to clean the private
plunge pool on the terrace. They will be given access to the house by the
concierge. It is essential to let them in so they can do their job and keep the
chemical levels up. Use of the private pool is not allowed while they are
cleaning the pool.
Gas for the barbecue is not included. There is usually gas in the cylinder on
the terrace. If it is empty, you can exchange it for a full one at the petrol
pump with the brand of the gas bottle. (often Repsol or BP or Cepsa) Gas
bottles usually cost around €20.
Communal swimming pool

with balls and bringing inflatables to the pool area ( other than the floaters
the small kids need) is not allowed. Kids are not allowed in the jacuzzi. Small
kids shall at all times wear special pool diapers.
Outside high season or when maintenance is required, the communal
pool/jacuzzi may be closed.
Update 2025: Starting on Tuesday, December 9th, general maintenance work will
begin, as well as renovation works in the pool area. The estimated duration of
these works is approximately three weeks, during which some common areas may be
temporarily affected. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in
advance. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience these works may
cause. They are being carried out to improve the facilities for the benefit of
all residents.

* A car is not essential for this accommodation as most facilities are within
walking distance.
* If you do have a car, you will have 2 private parking spaces in the car
park under the building with lift to the penthouse.
* Please note that the spaces are very narrow even when everyone parks neatly
within the lines. So if the garage is busy, you may only be able to park 1 car
between the 2 spaces, it may sometimes be better or easier to park outside in
