A 500m² detached cottage in a true haven of peace overlooking the bocage, with an enclosed garden, pergola, and private parking. The single-story property comprises a living room with a sofa bed and a television with DVD player, a spacious kitchen with a dining area and laundry area with direct access to the garden, a bathroom with a shower and separate toilet, a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a bedroom with two twin beds (90x190cm). The fireplace is decorative. A haven of peace in the Morvan Regional Natural Park with its lakes (swimming, fishing with possible accompaniment), rivers (canoeing, rafting), and forests (GR hiking and horseback riding, mushroom picking, mountain biking, cycling, climbing, quad biking, and trail riding, and day hunting). Tourist attractions (numerous castles) and cultural sites (museums) to visit: Vézelay (departure for Santiago de Compostela), Bazoches (Vauban Castle), Avallon, Saulieu, Ancy-le-Franc, the Abbey of La Pierre qui Vire, etc. It is possible to rent with the 7-person gîte 58G1150 located on the other side of the road.

• Arrive by the A6 motorway, take exit no. 22 "Avallon" (coming from Paris it is after that of "Nitry", or coming from Dijon/Lyon it is after that of "Semur-en-Auxois").
There is then 29km left to travel, about 25 minutes!
• After the toll, STRAIGHT for 2.4km on the D646. Go to the STOP, do not follow "Avallon"!
• At the STOP, turn LEFT (D606), direction "Saulieu". Drive 2.5km.
• ATTENTION (!), at the "Courte-Paille" of Cussy-les-Forges, turn RIGHT (D60a) direction "Quarré-les-Tombes, Parc du Morvan"; in Cussy, after 500m, turn RIGHT again (D33) still towards "Quarré et Parc".
• Drive 8km to the STOP (you have crossed Villers-Nonnains).
• At the STOP, turn LEFT (D10), drive to Quarré-les-Tombes for 5km (you have crossed Villers-lès-Potots and La Gorge).
• On the Quarré square, turn RIGHT (D55) towards "Marigny-l'Eglise"; there are 8km left! (you can feel the arrival, …but it's the start of the small roads; you cross a few small hamlets with nice names: Montgaudier, Le Crillon and …Crottefou); after a few bends, you finally arrive at Marigny-l'Eglise (Aah!).
• In Marigny, SLOW DOWN (!), go past the Town Hall-School and immediately turn RIGHT (D210) towards "Saint-Germain-des-Champs, Avallon"; there are only 2.5 short kilometres left and you've arrived!
WATCH OUT (!), after 800m, turn LEFT (C6); you'll cross the hamlet of "Marigny-la-Ville" (it's the last hamlet! …which doesn't look like a town by the way!)
There are still 1.6 km left, and you'll arrive at "Le Mont" (Yesss!).
• In Le Mont (little chance of getting lost, there are only 2 roads!), at the crossroads STRAIGHT ON; and there, immediately after 50m (!), the "Gîte de l'Auge", on the right and the "Gîte du Cloiseau", on the left!
