Phil & Susan Harrison bought "La Poulinière" in April 2011 and moved permanently to France in August 2012. After living near Colchester, Essex and working locally and then in London for many years, they now enjoy retirement in the countryside in France. Their new challenges: larger scale gardening, running and cycling in the Ornais hills much larger than in Essex! and enjoy socially local events, tours, movies and quiz nights.

Description of the accommodation

Old restored barn next to the owners. Ground Floor: living room with kitchen area. Upstairs: living room (TV), bedroom (1 double bed, baby bed available), bathroom with toilet (hydromassage shower). Electric heating included. Sheets and towels provided. Large shared garden. Cricket games, rackets, balls. Charge for electric cars: €10 per day

Spa not available in winter. In the heart of the Domfrontais countryside, what will you do? A rural stay with the village of Saint Fraimbault classified 4 flowers, trout rivers and hiking trails. A gastronomic stopover with AOC perry (pear cider) and the famous calvados. Sporting exploits with canoeing in Torchamp, cycling on the greenways and climbing at the Fosse Arthour. Discover culture in Domfront, the medieval city and Petite Cité de Caractère or in Lassay les Châteaux. Certainly a bit of everything for a rejuvenating stay.
