The cottage is located 6 km from the fortified town of Avallon (with all shops and services) and 20 km from Vézelay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the Basilica of Sainte Marie-Madeleine. It is also close to the Morvan Regional Natural Park and several lakes. Activities such as treetop adventure courses, rafting, canoeing/kayaking, and go-karting are available in the area (between 6 and 20 km).
