Description of the accommodation

Gite Éringes, 2 bedrooms, 5 persons - FR-1-819-285

Less than 15 minutes from the Cistercian Abbey of Fontenay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this 19th-century, detached, renovated house is located in a region rich in art and history, in the heart of the Auxois, close to numerous cultural and tourist attractions.

Ground floor: fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room (radio/CD player, DVD player, television, piano). WC.

Access to the first floor via a Burgundy stone staircase. One large bedroom with a double bed (140cm), and a second large bedroom with two single beds (90cm) that can be joined together and one double bed (120cm). One cot. Bathroom with WC, private access from the bedrooms. Oil-fired central heating.

Private, unfenced garden in front of the house in a shared courtyard. Covered shelter and parking for several vehicles.

Pets are not allowed. Bicycles can be stored in the enclosed barn.

A few kilometers away are the Alésia Museum Park, the medieval towns of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain and Semur-en-Auxois, the Château de Bussy-Rabutin, the Abbey of Fontenay (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Parc Buffon. For leisure activities: the Nid à la Caille lake with supervised swimming and a children's playground is 6 km away. Lake Pont with a beach is 20 km away. The Amphitrite aquatic center is 12 km away. There is also the Auxois animal and leisure park. Enjoy walks and cycle paths along the Burgundy Canal. Numerous hiking and cycling trails start right from the gîte. Explore the vineyards of the Auxois region.
