The Gîte is located at the bottom of the Place du Port. Pass in front of the pier, continue without crossing the small bridge. It's on the left, last house before the conch. Blue gate with Gîtes de France panels and L'Oiseleur-Nymphéa signs high above the gate.

Description of the accommodation

Gîte set up in old stables, adjoining the owner's accommodation and another gîte (H85G009827), on an enclosed property of 1,200 m², located in the village of Damvix, in the heart of the Marais Poitevin. The gîte overlooks the Conche des Oisiliers (small private waterway), close to the Sèvre Niortaise and the Damvix Embarcadère. This single-storey house consists of a living room/lounge/kitchen (wood stove), a bathroom/WC, 2 bedrooms (1 160 cm bed) (2 90 cm beds). Wireless. Connected television. Outside: private terrace overlooking the Conche des Oisiliers (garden furniture, deckchairs, barbecue) and adjoining shaded green space. Shared with the other gîte: Pétanque court, car parking. Boat, canoes, pedal boat available free of charge at any time (2 boats, 2 canoes, 1 pedal boat), with life jackets and maps. Fishing on site. Shops on site (bakery, supermarket, butcher, honey store, pharmacy, doctor). Small market on Wednesday. Public swimming pool open on summer afternoons in Benet (13km). Lake Xanton-Chassenon 19 km away. Scarecrow Festival in Damvix from May (fun walking circuit, signposted 3km).
