In a quiet little village 5 km from Seurre, the "Le Jardin Suspendu" gîte, adjoining the owner's house, offers: on the ground floor: a charming living room (brick, terracotta tiles, beams, etc.) with a large-screen TV, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen (Tassimo pod coffee machine), and a dining room. Upstairs (a slightly steep staircase): one bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and an en-suite shower room with shower and toilet; one bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm) with an en-suite shower room and toilet; and access via a few steps to another bedroom with two single beds (90 cm) that can be joined together. Baby equipment is available on request (travel cot, high chair, changing mat). At the front: a wooden terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Private parking for two cars. At the rear (accessible via a gate): a large, wooded garden to share, with garden furniture, sun loungers, a small terrace, and a shared 10 x 5m swimming pool, open from May to the end of September (weather permitting), from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, secured by an alarm. Below, there is a pétanque court (boules provided) and a children's swing. Pets are welcome upon request. Breathtaking views of the surrounding plain.
Nearby in Seurre: shops, the Hôtel-Dieu (hospital), and a historical walking tour of the town. The Saône River and its bucolic landscapes are ideal for fishing, walks, family picnics, and relaxation. The Voie Bleue (Blue Route), a safe and signposted 17km cycle path, follows the meanders of the Saône. Saint-Jean-de-Losne: the leading inland river port, offering boat rentals and restaurants. The Abbey of Cîteaux, cradle of the Cistercians, is also renowned locally for its excellent cheese made by the monks. It's 30 minutes from the famous Burgundy vineyards of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Beaune (and its Hospices, a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Meursault, and more. Dijon, the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, a city of art and history and a center of gastronomy, is 45 minutes away. The Jura Mountains are just a few kilometers away.
