L’Echoppe Est Belle, located in the heart of the charming medieval village of Châteauneuf-en-Auxois and opposite the castle, is ideal for 9 people. On the ground floor: a fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker, a living room with a flat-screen TV, and a large 26 m² bedroom with an en-suite shower room and toilet.

Upstairs, the landing leads to two adjoining bedrooms, one with a lovely shower room and separate toilet, and an alcove with a high-quality sofa bed (140x190cm) and a desk. On the other side, a fourth bedroom (terracotta tile floor and exposed beams) with an en-suite shower room offers direct access to a small terrace. All the bedrooms are spacious and feature queen-size beds (160x200cm) and flat-screen TVs.

Custom-made solid oak headboards, impressive ornamental fireplaces, stained-glass windows, and the use of fine materials such as wood, Burgundy stone, and terracotta tiles make each room unique.

Despite the unusual layout of this village, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a small enclosed courtyard, shared with the 4-person gîte located upstairs (garden furniture, deck chairs, and a barbecue are available). A washing machine is shared between the two gîtes.

All-inclusive: heating, electricity, towels, beds made upon arrival, and end-of-stay cleaning. Pets are welcome (€8 per day with a €200 pet deposit).

Restaurants are located in the village. Public parking is available opposite the gîte.

This cottage can be rented together with cottage H21G028272 under reference H21G028273 for a total capacity of 13 people (2 additional beds available on request). A travel cot and high chair are provided. The Burgundy Canal runs at the foot of the village, with a cycle path on site. Walking trails are available. The motorway exit at Pouilly-en-Auxois is 10 km away.
