In the heart of a small village 10 minutes from the outskirts of Dijon, Juliette's House is a renovated 1850s building with exposed stone, Burgundy flagstones, and beams.
Ground floor: Large living room with lounge, fireplace, and dining room. Fitted kitchen opening onto the garden. Bathroom with corner bathtub. Separate toilet. Laundry room.
Upstairs: A landing with a sofa bed offering 2 additional beds. A bedroom with two twin beds (90 cm). A bedroom with a queen-size bed and two trundle beds (80 x 200 cm). A shower room with toilet.
Private 250 m² walled garden at the rear of the house. Access to the cottage is via a shared courtyard (no parking available) with the owner at the front. Bicycle storage. Easy and free parking is available on the street alongside the cottage. All inclusive: linens and towels, final cleaning, oil heating and wood for the fireplace, and electricity.
Chaignay is a small village with just over 500 inhabitants, ideally nestled in the heart of a magnificent region. Close to the capital of Burgundy, Dijon, a mecca of French history and gastronomy. It's no more than 30 minutes from the Route des Grands Crus in Gevrey-Chambertin, and then through Morey-Saint-Denis, Vougeot, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Beaune, Pommard, Meursault, and Puligny-Montrachet. Nearby: hiking, treetop adventures, paintball, motocross, and the Bèze Caves.
