LE DOMAINE DES 100 LACS residence in Cauterets in the French Pyrenees is located approximately 1km from the resort centre and spa and 500m from the Lys cable car. This recently built complex is made up of 3 six-storey buildings (with lift) in a traditional Pyrenean style combining stone, timber and slate.

LOCATION
CAUTERETS (

) is a traditional village and thermal spa located in the heart of the Pyrenean National Park. Facing the Vignemale, the highest mountain in the area, the resort has been described as the Chamonix of the Pyrenees. Le Cirque du Lys (
1730m - 2450m
), a short cable car ride from Cauterets, is a great place for downhill skiers.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
The Cirque du Lys ski domaine offers 36km of downhill ski slopes, served by 16 ski lifts, as well as a snowpark and access to 6km of slopes in the Pont d'Espagne.

CHILDREN
"Les Marmottes" nursery welcomes children aged 2 months to 4 years, and the "Billes de Lune" kid's club located in Cirque de Lys offers childcare and entertainment for children aged 3 to 7 years. Ski lessons are availble for children of all abilities aged 3 years and over.

SKI RUNS
Cross-country skiers visting Cauterets will be able to access 36km of trails in the Pont d'Espagne area (7km away from Cauterets). Price/day: approx. 10 euros/adult.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Cauterets is within easy reach by coach from Lourdes train station (30km).
The resort is well-equipped and offers all necessary amenities, including local shops, launderettes, banks, a post office and a doctors and pharmacies.
