Located 35 km from Besançon and 70 km from Dijon, the Gîte des Monts de Gy is situated in the heart of a former wine-growing village, classified as a "Cité de Caractère" (Town of Character). You will be charmed by the winegrowers' houses, vaulted cellars, and old pathways leading to the terraced vineyards on the hillsides. The charm of a village is also found in this community-run gîte, ideal for hikers seeking a friendly and comfortable stopover on the Way of St. James and the Via Francigena. Also worth discovering are the local wines (Charcenne, Bucey-lès-Gy, etc.). The Milleret cheese factory, the snail farm, the "Acorus" water garden in Autoreille, and the typical flora and fauna of the Monts de Gy (deer rutting season, wild orchids, etc.) are all nearby.

The association that manages the gîte offers stone carving workshops throughout the year, and guided hikes in the Monts de Gy are available for groups upon request. The Gîte des Monts de Gy is a group accommodation that can host either groups or individuals for one or more nights.

The Gîte des Monts de Gy is a "friends" house, belonging to the Friends of Nature association.

On the ground floor, it offers a kitchen with a pellet stove, a living/dining room, Wi-Fi internet access, a reception area, a laundry room, a shower room/WC (accessible to people with reduced mobility), and a barn for storing hiking equipment or bicycles.
