Renovated authentic cottage, near Beaune, nature & climbing

You can enjoy an exceptional setting in a Natura 2000 protected area. Located just a few meters from the Rhoin River, beneath the village cliffs and bordered by the forest, the cottage offers peace and tranquility.
Numerous hiking and cycling trails start right from the cottage. Climbing enthusiasts can also enjoy approximately 400 routes. The Rhoin Valley cottage is ideally situated between the Côte d'Or wine region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Burgundy Canal, and the Auxois region.

This former stone-built stable has been completely renovated, notably preserving the original troughs, which have been converted into benches. Ground floor: travertine living room with dining area, TV, fully equipped kitchen, and pellet stove. Shower room. Laundry room and separate WC.

Upstairs: a bedroom with a queen-size bed (160 cm). A large room can serve as a TV lounge or bedroom with its comfortable double sofa bed (140 cm) and a mezzanine with two twin beds (80x190 cm, making a double of 160 cm, which cannot be separated). A second separate toilet with a washbasin is also available.

There is a courtyard with a terrace and parking in front of the cottage. A secure barn provides storage for bicycles. Electric heating is charged according to consumption during the winter months (16 kWh per day included). Three 15 kg bags of wood pellets are included in the weekly price, as are bed linens (beds made upon arrival) and final cleaning. A folding bed, high chair, and baby bath are available upon request. The owners live nearby, and there is also a year-round rental property (with cellar access via the cottage courtyard).

The owners have preserved the spirit and authenticity of the place using objects found on the property, while also incorporating modern amenities.

Charges and supplements: Electricity and heating according to meter reading (beyond the 16 kWh per day included in the price). Towel rental: €5 per person. €6 per additional bag of wood pellets.
