Welcome to our comfortable cottage, located in the beautiful Puisaye-Forterre region, in Bitry (Nièvre). You'll find peace, comfort, and authenticity in a lush green setting conducive to recharging your batteries. We live on the property, but your terraces, garden, and pétanque court are not overlooked (30 meters away).
On the ground floor, the cottage offers a large, welcoming room combining the kitchen and dining room, ideal for preparing meals while socializing with guests around a large table. A separate living room with sofas and a television invites you to relax, whether reading or watching a movie. The entrance is equipped with a table football, perfect for playtime, and a toilet completes this floor. Upstairs, five bedrooms each have their own bathroom with shower and toilet, while two other bedrooms (adjoining) share the bathroom/toilet. 4 bedrooms each equipped with a 140x190 bed; 2 bedrooms equipped with two 90x190 beds each and one bedroom with a 160x200 bed. Outside, you will enjoy an open garden with a terrace, relaxation area and pétanque court, as well as a barbecue for your summer meals. Horses on site (electric fence). The cottage also has private parking, Wi-Fi and provides board games and local books. Horses can be accommodated (maximum 6) with a shed in the field, meadow, and hay for €15/night/horse.
Motorcycles can be stored in the sheltered barn. Business stays for up to 7 people.
Only 15 minutes from the medieval construction site of Guédelon and the Château de Saint-Fargeau, and 5 minutes from St. Amand-en-Puisaye, the pottery capital. Here, you can escape to the rhythm of the birds, the neighboring horses, and the garden's flowers. Hiking and jogging trails are accessible from the doorstep. 20 minutes from Colette's House and 30 minutes from the Sancerre vineyards.
Stag and hen parties are prohibited and not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
