A restored former farmhouse, located at the entrance to the village, on a 5000 m² grassy plot crossed by two streams. The renovation has created a self-catering cottage and three guest rooms. The accommodation is attached to the owners' residence but has its own independent access and is fully self-contained. The entrance is via a balcony leading to the ground floor: a kitchen/living area, a shower room and toilet, a lounge, and a bedroom (one double bed 140 x 190 cm). There are two access points to the upper floor, from the kitchen or the lounge, leading to two bedrooms (three double beds 140 x 190 cm) and a shower room with toilet. An adjoining outdoor area is available with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. The garden, shared with the owners, is open to guests; tables, chairs, and armchairs are scattered throughout to enjoy the greenery and the water. A playground with swings awaits the children… From mid-June to mid-September, weather permitting, we offer a landscaped area with a semi-inground, unheated swimming pool (6 x 4.70 m), table and chairs, garden furniture, sun loungers… Pool use is regulated, with opening hours from 3 pm to 7 pm and access restricted when children are present; instructions are posted on site. Access to waterways is the responsibility of the parents.
Near the Morvan Regional Natural Park and its large lakes, as well as the major cultural sites of the Côte-d'Or (Fontenay Abbey, Buffon Forges, Vézelay, the castles of Ancy-le-Franc, Bussy-Rabutin, and Alésia…). Less than 30 minutes from Avallon, 20 minutes from the towns of Montbard and Semur-en-Auxois, and 1 hour from Beaune and Dijon. The property is currently difficult to access for people with reduced mobility, as there are steps and a small balcony to enter the two-story house. The ground floor includes a bedroom and a bathroom, but the doors are not up to code. The owners will welcome guests from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the latest. However, guests must specify their arrival time. A doorbell is located at the entrance gate to announce your arrival.
