Upstairs: shower room, small attic bedroom accessible via two additional steps (queen-size bed). Wi-Fi connection. Electric heating (extra charge: €5/day payable to the owners). Private enclosed garden of 400 m². Small pets are allowed upon prior request to the owner. Art studio on site (at the owner's home). Children's and adults' classes and workshops are available. Non-smoking property. In the heart of Touraine, this cottage provides a pleasant base just 500 meters from the banks of the Cher, a river very popular with anglers! This location is also ideal for exploring the exceptional Loire Valley châteaux that grace our magnificent Touraine region (Amboise, Chenonceau, Loches, Azay-le-Rideau, Valençay, etc.). And that's not all! The surrounding area is brimming with vineyards where some of the Loire Valley's most famous wines are produced (Touraine, Montlouis, and Vouvray appellations). For younger children, there's a dedicated amusement park just 5 minutes away. And for the whole family, the renowned Beauval Zoo/Safari Park is only half an hour away. Whether on foot, by bike, or by car, you'll discover tranquility, nature, and some truly picturesque, idyllic spots along the nearby paths and roads! The old towpath has now been converted into a "Cher à Vélo" (Cher by Bike) trail, which will take you safely to Chenonceau for a leisurely ride.
