Family cottage in Arnay-le-Duc, all inclusive

In the heart of the charming medieval town of Arnay-le-Duc, steeped in history, enjoy a pleasant stay with friends or family in this 7-person gîte.

On the ground floor (accessed via 7 steps from the outside), a kitchen and living/dining room (with TV) offer direct access to a small, enclosed courtyard. A small garden, barbecue, garden furniture, and a lovely view of the meadows complete the ground floor.

A bathroom with a shower and corner bathtub is also available. There is a separate WC and a laundry room with a washing machine.

Upstairs, there are two separate sleeping areas. One area comprises a children's bedroom with a single bed, a bathroom, and a WC. The second area (the bedrooms are adjoining) has a double bed (140x190cm). The second sleeping area comprises two adjoining bedrooms: one with a double bed (140x190cm), which you pass through to access the fourth bedroom, also with a double bed (140x190cm). Attractive terracotta floor tiles.

All shops and restaurants are nearby. Entertainment and tours are available in the summer.

History buffs will be interested to know that one of the great figures of French history, the young Prince of Navarre, the future King Henry IV, participated in his first battle against the Catholics here.

Things to see and do: just 1 km away, enjoy the Etang Fouché leisure park and its supervised beach (open during the summer). From Arnay, you can also easily explore the Morvan Regional Natural Park, the tourist attractions of Dijon, the regional capital, the gastronomic town of Saulieu, Fontenay Abbey, the vineyards of Beaune, or the Gallo-Roman ruins of Autun. A6 motorway exit: Pouilly-en-Auxois (15 minutes).
