Former outbuilding of a farm, this gîte can accommodate 4 people in total (thanks to 2 pull-out beds for 1 person in the living room). The owners live 200 m away. [hidden] : living room giving access via 5 steps to the fully equipped living room-kitchen, bedroom (double bed), bathroom. water/wc. Baby equipment: Bed, chair, bath, changing mat. Electric heating (extra/metered). Enclosed courtyard 100 m². Access to the accommodation from the courtyard via 3 small steps. Firewood option (50 €/stere). Covered shelter for 1 car. Non-smoking gîte. Loan of 2 bikes on request. Varenne lake under Chandon, beautiful walk to do on foot. Our cottage, which can accommodate up to 4 people, is located just a stone's throw from the pretty tourist town of Amboise, all its amenities and shops, and its world-famous Royal Castle which sits in the heart of the city. Quietly located in a corner of the countryside, the house is the former outbuilding of a farm and constitutes the ideal base for exploring the Loire Valley. The region concentrates a multitude of the region's riches: the castles (Amboise but also Chenonceau, Blois, Villandry, Azay le Rideau, Langeais, Le Clos Lucé, etc.), its vineyards (Vouvray, Montlouis, Chinon, Bourgueil) and its gastronomy. Without forgetting the Touraine Aquarium 3 km away, the proximity of the “Loire à vélo” route (loan of 2 bikes possible on request) or Tours, the regional capital.
