All shops are located in Nolay, a medieval village and green holiday resort, surrounded by its stone-roofed market halls (14th century) and its church (15th and 17th centuries). It's a pleasure to explore its narrow medieval streets lined with half-timbered houses. Ideally located 60 km from Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, and 18 km from Beaune, the capital of Burgundy, also known for its famous Hospices, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Grands Crus Wine Route from Dijon to Santenay. Numerous wine cellar tours and tastings are available nearby. For nature lovers, there are hiking trails, a greenway, a lake, cliffs, and more. The Morvan Regional Natural Park is also 30 minutes away. Cultural discoveries are also rich and varied, with Autun and its Gallo-Roman past, Le Creusot and its industrial past, the châteaux of Pommard, Couches, Sully, and more.
