LOCATION
BRETIGNOLLES SUR MER is a family resort typical of the Vendee coastline and located 18km from Les Sables d'Olonne and 10km from Saint-Gilles Croix de Vie. It stretches along 13km of coastline which is dotted alternately with beaches and coves, with 5 beaches in total.

VENDEE
Hugging the France's Atlantic Ocean coastline from the Isle of Noirmoutier in the north La Rochelle (450km) in the south and taking in some of the neighbouring interior landscape for good measure, the picturesque Vendee area invites visitors to discover its green valleys, its idyllic beaches, and its vast vineyards, as well as exploring its imposing castles and charming villages.
Amongst the Vendee's must visit destinations, the fine sands of the famous Les Sables d'Olonne resort and the unique "Marais Poitevin" wet and drylands, situated further inland, should both be top of all visitors lists. The "Marais Poitevin" are best explored by boat, where visitors can glide along through the network of rivers and canals dotted by quaint little bridges that typify this distinct part of the Vendee.
